Running, Jumping, Squatting, Lunging, Pushing, and Pulling—Few recreational athletes are tougher on their bodies than CrossFitters. They need chiropractic care to be able to head to the gym every day.
Since I always recommend narrow targeting for chiropractic Facebook ads, CrossFit enthusiasts are a perfect target group. You can target your ad copy very specifically to strains, soreness, and back pain. CrossFitters are also pretty easy to pick out using interest targeting.
- Select “People who live in this location.” You don’t want to target people who we just recently traveling through.
- Enter your address, then select a radius that you believe is a reasonable distance that your patients will travel in your area to see you. I use 10 miles as a default.
- I selected 19-45 years to get within the age range of active CrossFitters
- Both men and women do CrossFit, so I selected All
If you type “CrossFit” in the Detailed Targeting box, you’ll see a ton of suggestions. This is where Facebook is pure gold for advertisers.
I’d suggest using the broadest interests. I selected CrossFit, CrossFit Journal, and Crossfit Training.
Note that you’ll want to check your Potential Reach numbers. In my Columbus, Ohio example, this targeting had a potential reach of 46,000 people. I would likely narrow this by taking the radius down to 5-7 miles.
If your potential reach is much lower in your area, you may need to consider expanding your location radius or combining CrossFit targeting with more general fitness targeting like weightlifters and fitness interests.
